''A Fazenda 12'' is the twelfth season of the Brazilian reality television series '' A Fazenda'', which premiered Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at on RecordTV. Overview Development Marcos Mion returned as the main host for his third season, while comedian Victor Sarro replaced Lucas Salles as the show's online host and correspondent. This season, the contestants moved into the Farm on Sunday, September 6, 2020, two days before the season premiere. Fire challenge episodes moved from Friday to Monday, while nominations and farmer challenge episodes moved from Monday and Tuesday to Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Eviction episodes remained on Thursday nights. Impacts of COVID-19 On August 22, 2020, twenty celebrities were placed in quarantine and tested for COVID-19 multiple times. Four additional celebrities were also quarantined alongside as stand-by contestants. Jakelyne Oliveira
Jakelyne de Oliveira Silva (born March 18, 1993 in Rondonópolis) is a Brazilian dancer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Brasil 2013 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow, Russia. Marcos Mion
Marcos Chaib Mion (born June 20, 1979 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian TV host, actor, voice actor, author and businessman (Partner of V.Rom). Mion studied Philosophy at Universidade de São Paulo, and later graduated in Communication and Body Arts at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Career He started his career on TV as an actor in 1999, on the Rede Globo's show ''Sandy e Júnior''. In 2000, he went to work on MTV Brasil, hosting the shows ''Supernova'' and ''Piores Clipes do Mundo'' (''Worst Videos in the World'', in Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese).
