A Different Beat (Boyzone Album)
''A Different Beat'' is the second studio album released by Irish boy band Boyzone on 28 October 1996 by Polydor Records. Background Like their debut album '' Said and Done'', much of the original material on the album was co-written by members of the group. After the success of their debut, the release of ''A Different Beat'' occurred on a much bigger scale. As ''Said and Done'' was never released in France, when "Love Me for a Reason" was released as the group's debut single there, it ended up being included on ''A Different Beat'', exclusively in the region. The first international single, "Words", was released pretty much worldwide, as were the two follow-up singles, " A Different Beat" and " Isn't It a Wonder". Boyzone
Boyzone were an Irish boy band, created in 1993 by talent manager Louis Walsh. Before even recording any material, Boyzone made an appearance on RTÉ's '' The Late Late Show''. Their most successful line-up was composed of Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch. As of 2018, Boyzone have released seven studio albums and nine compilation albums. In 2012, the Official Charts Company revealed the biggest selling singles artists in British music chart history, with Boyzone currently placed at 29th and the second most successful boy band in Britain, behind Take That. A boy band is loosely defined as a vocal group consisting of young male singers, usually in their teenage years or in their twenties at the time of formation. Walter Scharf (August 1, 1910 – February 24, 2003) was an American musician, best known as a film, television and concert composer and arranger/conductor. Biography Broadway theatre Born in Manhattan, he was the son of Yiddish theatre comic Bessie Zwerling. Madeline Bell (born July 23, 1942) is an American soul singer, who became famous as a performer in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s with pop group Blue Mink, having arrived from America in the gospel show ''Black Nativity'' in 1962, with the vocal group Bradford Singers.
