AS Adema
AS ADEMA is a Malagasy football club based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. They have won the THB Champions League championship on three occasions, in 2002, 2006 and 2012. In 2002 they also advanced to the quarterfinals of the CAF Cup before losing to Al-Masry of Egypt. AS ADEMA won a THB Champions League match against SO l'Emyrne by the score of 149–0 on 31 October 2002. SOE scored 149 own goals in protest of a refereeing decision. Mahamasina Stadium
Kianja Barea Mahamasina is a rugby union and football (multi-purpose stadium, multi-purpose) stadium, also used for concerts and athletics, in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Usage It is used mostly for Rugby union, rugby and football (soccer), football matches. The stadium has a 40,880 capacity for football and rugby matches. Incidents In 2005, the stadium was the site of a stampede that killed two people during a match between South African side Kaizer Chiefs and Madagascar's USJF Ravinala. It was also the stadium of the 2007 Indian Ocean Games. On 26 June 2016, during a free concert, a bomb detonated in the stadium, killing two people and injuring around 80. On 8 September 2018 a stampede to enter the stadium killed one person and injured 37. CAF Champions League 2007
The 2007 CAF Champions League was the 43rd occurrence of the CAF Champions League, the most prestigious club football competition in Africa. Étoile du Sahel of Tunisia became champions for the first time, beating Al Ahly SC of Egypt 3–1 in a two-legged final. Étoile du Sahel participated in the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan as the representative from CAF. Qualifying rounds Preliminary round The 1st legs were played on 26–28 January 2007. The 2002 CAF Cup was the 11th edition of the CAF Cup, the African continental club competition for runners up of the respective domestic leagues. It was won by Algerian team JS Kabylie who beat Tonnerre Yaoundé of Cameroon 4–1 over two legs in the final.
