Asus Eee Top
The Asus Eee Top (with the second word pronounced ) is a touch screen all-in-one desktop computer designed by Asus and released in November 2008. Its motherboard employs Splashtop technology called "ExpressGate" by Asus. There are four models in this series, the ET1602, ET1603, ET2002 and ET2203d. The ET 1602 and 1603 models feature a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, wide-screen (16:9) 15.6" display, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, 160 GB SATA HDD, 802.11b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi, speakers, SD card reader and a 1.3MP webcam with Windows XP Home modified with Asus' big-icon Easy Mode. Secure Digital Card
Secure Digital, officially abbreviated as SD, is a proprietary non-volatile flash memory card format developed by the SD Association (SDA) for use in portable devices. The standard was introduced in August 1999 by joint efforts between SanDisk, Panasonic (Matsushita) and Toshiba as an improvement over MultiMediaCards (MMCs), and has become the industry standard. The three companies formed SD-3C, LLC, a company that licenses and enforces intellectual property rights associated with SD memory cards and SD host and ancillary products. A touchscreen or touch screen is the assembly of both an input ('touch panel') and output ('display') device. IMac
iMac is a family of all-in-one Mac desktop computers designed and built by Apple Inc. Nvidia Ion was a product line of Nvidia Corporation intended for motherboards of low-cost portable computers. It used graphics processing units and chipsets intended for small products. Description Nvidia Ion products included a GeForce 9M (9xxxM) series MCP79MX (with integrated GeForce 9400M G GPU) chipset, DDR3-1066 or DDR2-800 SDRAM, and the Intel Atom processor. Splashtop OS
Splashtop OS (previously known as SplashTop) is a discontinued Linux distribution intended to serve as instant-on environment for personal computers. It is open source software with some closed source components. The original concept of Splashtop was that it was intended to be integrated on a read-only device and shipped with the hardware, rather than installed by the user. It did not prevent the installation of another operating system for dual booting. It was an instant-on commercial Linux distribution targeting PC motherboard vendors and other device manufacturers. The first OEM partner for the original Splashtop was ASUS, and their first joint product was called Express Gate.
