Alvino Rey
Alvin McBurney (July 1, 1908 – February 24, 2004), known by his stage name Alvino Rey, was an American jazz guitarist and bandleader. Career Alvin McBurney was born in Oakland, California, United States, but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Early in life he had a knack for music and electronics. When he was eight, he built his first radio, and within a couple years he was one of the youngest ham radio operators in the country. In his teens, he was given a banjo as a birthday present. His professional career began in 1927 when he got a job playing banjo with Cleveland bandleader Ev Jones. During the following year, he became a member of the Phil Spitalny Orchestra. He switched from banjo to guitar, then changed his name to Alvino Rey to take advantage of the popularity of Latin music in New York City at the time. Alvino Volpi Neto
Alvino Volpi Neto (born 1 August 1992), commonly known as Neto Volpi, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Deportes Tolima of the Categoria Primera A. Career Neto Volpi began his career playing for Figueirense's youth sides. In 2014, Santo André announced the signing of Volpi on loan. He returned to Santa Catarina, his home state, after joining Inter de Lages for the 2016 season. Neto Volpi eventually became the club's first-stringer goalkeeper in all three tournaments Inter de Lages played throughout the season – Campeonato Catarinense, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. Afterwards, he signed with América de Cali. Neto Volpi currently plays for Shimizu S-Pulse earning £3,000 per week. Enrico Alvino (1809–1872) was an Italian architect and urban designer, particularly active in Naples in the mid-19th century. He was born in Milan, and died in Rome. Works Among his important works in Naples are: *façade of the church of Santa Maria di Piedigrotta (1853); *laid out (with others) the street, Corso Maria Teresa, today named Corso Vittorio Emanuele (between 1852 and 1860), finished in 1870; *planned the restoration of the façade of the Cathedral of Naples, completed in 1870; *redesigned the Santa Lucia quarter in 1862; *redesigned (with others) the Villa Comunale; *converted the ancient convent of San Giovanni a Costantinopoli into the Royal Academy of Fine Arts; In Catania, he helped complete the Palazzo Paternò del Toscano in Piazza Stesicoro. Terry Alvino
Terry Alvino (born June 15, 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American soccer player currently playing for Kalamazoo Outrage in the USL Premier Development League. He spent three years at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, where he helped the Cardinals to three straight Division II National Tournament appearances and the school's best finish in Division II, a quarterfinal loss to eventual champions Seattle University. He transferred to and graduated from the University of Dayton in 2005 and prior to the 2006 season had trials with the Richmond Kickers and Chicago Fire. He has also since played with NZFC outfit Otago United, and American USL First Division side Minnesota Thunder.
