Aimco or Apartment Investment and Management Company is a publicly traded real estate investment trust. AIV Fodder
AIV fodder is a kind of silage. The AIV liquid is added to the fodder, green fodder to improve the storage. This is especially important during long winters. The process includes adding a dilute hydrochloric or sulfuric acid to newly stored grain. Increased acidity stops harmful Fermentation (food), fermentation and has no adverse effect on the nutritive value of the fodder or the animals it is fed to. A Finland, Finnish researcher of chemistry and agriculture Artturi Virtanen invented the method and named it after his initials (Artturi Ilmari Virtanen). First commercial AIV fodder products were introduced in 1929 and the method was patented in 1932. In 1945 Virtanen became a Nobel Prize laureate in chemistry "for his research and inventions in agricultural and nutrition chemistry, especially for his fodder preservation method" (AIV fodder). Bavarian A IV
Bavarian A IV engines were German 2-2-2 steam locomotives with the Royal Bavarian State Railways (''Königlich Bayerische Staatsbahn''). The vehicles were developed for night journeys and operations on the North-South Railway. In order to increase the area of the evaporator, the boiler was increased in length to 3,080 mm and in diameter to 1,219 mm. In addition, the weight and the boiler overpressure were raised. These were the first engines to have an outside frame with outside cylinders. This class was used widely, especially in south Germany and in Austria. All the engines bar one were retired by 1883. The survivor was initially converted to a 0-6-0, and later a 0-4-2 wheel arrangement. They were coupled to 3 T 5 tenders. George Downer Airport
George Downer Airport is a city-owned, public-use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) southwest of the central business district of Aliceville, a city in Pickens County, Alabama, United States. This airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 and 2009–2013, both of which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. Facilities and aircraft George Downer Airport covers an area of 41 acres (17 ha) at an elevation of 150 feet (46 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 6/24 with an asphalt surface measuring 4,970 by 80 feet (1,515 x 24 m). For the 12-month period ending July 26, 2006, the airport had 5,400 general aviation aircraft operations, an average of 14 per day. Panoz AIV Roadster
The Panoz Roadster is a sports car launched in 1992 by the American manufacturer Panoz Auto Development Company of Georgia. The Roadster was succeeded by the AIV Roadster in 1997. They were built using aluminum, similar to that of the Plymouth Prowler first sold several years later in 1997. The Panoz Roadster was the first American-built aluminum intensive vehicle. Development Panoz had purchased the rights to a frame designed by Frank Costin used in a defunct Irish sportscar called the TMC Costin. Panoz had Freeman Thomas design a new body for the car. Aluminum body panels were produced bSuperform USA resulting in bodywork both light and strong. Ford Mustang running gear, engine, and transmission were used, as was a solid rear axle and independent front suspension.
