The 2024 AIR Awards is the upcoming eighteenth annual Australian Independent Record Labels Association Music Awards ceremony (generally known as the AIR Awards), scheduled to take place on 1 August 2024 in Adelaide. The 2024 AIR Awards will introduce two new categories; the Independent Producer of the Year and the Independent Music Video of the Year. The nominees were revealed on 14 May 2024. Queen's Theatre, Adelaide
The Queen's Theatre is a building of historic importance in Playhouse Lane, Adelaide, South Australia. It is the oldest intact theatre in mainland Australia, having originally been built in 1840, the only earlier one in Australia being the still-operational Theatre Royal in Hobart, Tasmania (completed in 1836). It was not the first theatre to open in Adelaide however; there were two earlier, less sophisticated earlier venues created in 1838–9. The Queen's original incarnation only lasted for a couple of years before a recession forced closure, and the building was turned to other uses. The New Queen's Theatre operated in the billiard room of the tavern next door between 1846 and 1850, until the Queen's refurbishment and re-opening as the Royal Victoria Theatre in 1850. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are an Australian rock band formed in Canberra in 2015. The group consists of vocalist Anna Ryan, guitarist Scarlett McKahey, drummer Neve van Boxsel and bass guitarist Jaida Stephenson. Emma Watkins
Emma Olivia Watkins (born 21 September 1989) is an Australian singer, actress, and dancer, best known as a former member of the children's group the Wiggles. She debuted her own children's entertainment character, Emma Memma, in 2022; an accompanying television series entitled ''Emma Memma: Sing. Dance. Sign.'' is in development. ''The Winding Way'' is the third studio album by Australian indie blues rock band, the Teskey Brothers, released on 16 June 2023. The album was announced on 14 February 2023 alongside the release of the second single "Oceans of Emotions". The album was recorded in Sydney with producer Eric J Dubowsky. The Teskey Brothers
The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar). In 2019 they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. They have released two albums, '' Half Mile Harvest'' (2017) and '' Run Home Slow'' (2019). Leah Senior is an Australian musician. Career Leah Senior grew up in Woodford, Victoria, and played classical piano and guitar. Angus Stone (born 27 April 1986) is an Australian soul and pop singer, record producer and audio engineer.
