Air Accidents Investigation Institute
Air Accidents Investigation Institute (AAII, cz, Ústav pro odborné zjišťování příčin leteckých nehod, ÚZPLN) is the Czech Republic government agency investigating aviation accidents and incidents. It is headquartered in Letňany, 18th district, Prague. History On 14 October 2002, the Czech government passed resolution no.1006, which approved the statutes of the AAII and appointed Pavel Štrůbl as the agency's first managing director. The AAII began on 1 January 2003. Formerly the Civil Aviation Authority had the accident investigation competencies of the current AAII.History

The AAII was established with the Czech name originally being ''Ústav pro odborně technické zjišťování příčin leteckých nehod'' since January 2003. In July 2006, was renamed ("odborné" instead of "odborně technické") to its current Czech name.

The American Association of Individual Investors is a nonprofit organization with about 150,000 members whose purpose is to educate individual investors regarding stock market portfolios, financial planning, and retirement accounts. AAII "assists individuals in becoming effective managers of their own assets through programs of education, information and research." The organization markets itself as an unbiased source of investment information because of its not-for-profit status. The organization was founded in 1978 by James Cloonan, Ph.D. Over the last thirty years, AAII's members report "investment returns that are consistently higher than those of the stock market as a whole" (using the S&P 500 as reference). Since 2003, AAII has maintained two real portfolios—a shadow stock portfolio and a mutual fund portfolio – for education purposes. Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute
In Australia, the Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute (Australian AI Institute, AAII, or A2I2) was a government-funded research and development laboratory for investigating and commercializing Artificial Intelligence, specifically Intelligent Software Agents. History The AAII was started in 1988 as an initiative by the Hawke government and closed in 1999. It was backed by support from the Computer Power Group, SRI International and the Victorian State Government. The director of the group was Michael Georgeff who came from SRI, contributing his experience with the PRS and vision in the domain of Intelligent agents. It was located in the Melbourne suburb of Carlton before moving to more spacious premises in the city centre of Melbourne, Victoria.
