AAA (band)
are a 5-member Japanese pop group signed to the label Avex Trax which debuted in September 2005. The name has the meaning of challenging everything, and the group is marketed by their label as a "super performance unit". The group was formed through Avex's auditions and originally consisted of five young men and three young women who had acted in commercials and had experience being back dancers for other Japanese stars, such as Ayumi Hamasaki and Ami Suzuki. History 2005–2006: Early days and debut AAA was originally planned to be a six-member group. Initially, it included the five male members Takahiro Nishijima, Naoya Urata, Shuta Sueyoshi, Shinjiro Atae, Mitsuhiro Hidaka, and Misako Uno as the only female member. Avex later decided to add two more female members, Yukari Goto then Chiaki Ito. Blood On Fire
"Blood on Fire" (stylized as "BLOOD on FIRE") is the debut single by Japanese pop group AAA. The song was written by Osamu Sasaki and Mitsuhiro Hidaka, and produced by Max Matsuura. The single was released in Japan on September 14, 2005, under Avex Trax in two editions: a CD-only edition, and a CD and DVD edition. "Blood on Fire" debuted at number nine on the weekly Oricon singles chart. The single charted for 19 weeks and went on to sell over 46,000 copies in Japan. Composition "Blood on Fire" was written by Osamu Sasaki and Mitsuhiro Hidaka, composed and arranged by Miki Watanabe, and produced by Max Matsuura. Release and promotion "Blood on Fire" was released on September 14, 2005, in two editions: a CD-only edition, and a CD and DVD edition, which included the music video for the song. RIAJ Digital Track Chart
The was a record chart that ranks the best selling digital singles in Japan, with data provided by the Recording Industry Association of Japan from April 2009. The chart measures cellphone downloads (着うたフル ''Chaku-Uta Full'') (not downloads from PCs, or ringtones (着うた ''Chaku-Uta'')). On July 27, 2012, the service that tracked the charts was shut down. History The RIAJ originally started certifying digital downloads in August 2006. At the same time, they began posting a monthly chart called the (officially the ). This now defunct chart ranked the highest Chaku-uta (ringtone) downloads for the month. The chart was disbanded in March 2009 (the final month's data being February 2009), and was replaced by the identically named weekly Chaku-Uta Full chart. The ''Billboard Japan'' Hot 100 is a record chart in Japan for songs. It has been compiled by ''Billboard Japan'' and '' Hanshin Contents Link'' since February 2008. The chart is updated every Wednesday at Billboard-japan.com ( JST) and every Thursday at Billboard.com ( UTC). The Oricon Singles Chart is the Japanese music industry-standard singles popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Until 2017, Oricon did not track download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s, while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales. In November 2017, Oricon introduced its first digital songs chart, separate from its main physical singles chart. In November 2018, Oricon launched a streaming chart, and introduced a combined singles chart that utilizes physical single sales, downloads, and streams. ''AAA 10th Anniversary Best'' is the tenth studio album by Japanese music group AAA (band), AAA, released on September 16, 2015 alongside their eighth single of 2015 "Aishiteru no ni, Aisenai". The album is divided into three separate discs: the first two discs are a Greatest hits album, greatest hits compilation of hits songs from debut to 2014, while the third disc consists of new material released in 2015. Soon after release the album rose to the top of Oricon's daily album rankings, also claiming the top spot on the proceeding 28 September 2015 weekly Oricon Albums Chart. The album was released in light of commemorating AAA's tenth anniversary. The is an industry trade group composed of Japanese corporations involved in the music industry. It was founded in 1942 as the Japan Phonogram Record Cultural Association, and adopted its current name in 1969. The RIAJ's activities include promotion of music sales, enforcement of copyright law, and research related to the Japanese music industry.
