A63 Autoroute
The A63 autoroute is a motorway in southwest France, connecting Bordeaux (from Junction 15 of the A630 autoroute, Rocade) to the border with Spain and Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country via the Autopista AP-8. The motorway, rather than being a purpose-built route, is an upgrade of the former Route nationale 10, RN10, which became a full toll road and no longer exists south of Bordeaux. The motorway crosses ''Les Landes'' (moorland) as a dual-carriageway. Route The A63 connects the border with Spain at Biriatou (close to Hendaye) at the southern edge of the Landes (department) towards Bordeaux which it reaches at junction 15 of A630 autoroute, rocade). It is part of the ''Autoroute des Estuaires'' and is used by lorries from all over Europe heading to the Iberian peninsula. Tarbes (; Gascon: ''Tarba'') is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region of southwestern France. It is the capital of Bigorre and of the Hautes-Pyrénées. Biarritz Pays Basque Airport , also known as Biarritz Airport or Biarritz-Parme Airport, is an airport serving Biarritz, French Basque Country. It is located southeast of Biarritz, near Bayonne and Anglet. In 2020, the Basque airport was shaken by the global pandemic and saw its infrastructure closed between March and May. A total of 383,366 passengers (down 64.04%) transited through the platform. In 2019, the airport welcomed the aircraft of many delegations during the G7 meeting organized in Biarritz.
