A2 Motorway (Belgium)
The A2 is a Belgian motorway that coincides completely with the Belgian part of the European route E314. It starts in Leuven, at the junction with the A3/ E40 in the province of Flemish Brabant. Then it goes through the province of Limburg, where it crosses the A13/ E313 in Lummen. It ends at the Dutch border, where it became the Dutch A76. Flemish Government
The Flemish Government ( nl, Vlaamse regering ) is the executive branch of the Flemish Community and the Flemish Region of Belgium. It consists of a government cabinet, headed by the Minister-President and accountable to the Flemish Parliament, and the public administration (civil service) divided into 13 policy areas, each with an executive department and multiple agencies. Houthalen-Helchteren
Houthalen-Helchteren (; li, Hôtele-Helichtre) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. Houthalen-Helchteren consists of Houthalen-centrum, Houthalen-Oost, Helchteren, Sonnis, Laak, Meulenberg and Lillo. On 1 January 2020 Houthalen-Helchteren had a total population of around 30.000. A76 Motorway (Netherlands)
The A76 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands. It is located entirely in the Dutch province of Limburg. Overview The motorway, 27 km long, connects the Belgian border ( A2/ E314 road) near Stein with Geleen, Heerlen and the German border ( A4 road) near Simpelveld. Along the entire stretch of the motorway, the European route E314 travels along the A76. The A76 features a number of incomplete connections and interchanges. At interchange Ten Esschen, only traffic to and from the western part of the A76 can reach the connecting N281 road. Exit 6, located approximately 1 km to the east, covers traffic from the eastern part of the A76 towards the N281 but not the other way around. It is mostly two lanes each way. European Route E313
The European route E 313 is a road in Europe and a part of the United Nations International E-road network. Approximately long, it connects the Belgian port city of Antwerp to Liège, the commercial and industrial centre of Wallonia. It runs thus entirely within Belgium: however, it does cross the language frontier within Belgium between the Dutch speaking Flanders and the French speaking Wallonia which affects the roadside route signs and safety-message posters. From the junction at Ranst where it splits from the E 34, it follows the Belgian A13. It also serves the same industrial belt as the Albert Canal, the route of which generally runs close to the E 313. In Belgium, the motorways ( nl, autosnelwegen; french: autoroutes; german: Autobahnen) are indicated by an A and an E (for European) number. The E numbers are used most often. Flemish Brabant ( nl, Vlaams-Brabant ; french: Brabant flamand ) is a province of Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. European Route E40
European route E40 is the longest European route, more than long, connecting Calais in France via Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, with Ridder in Kazakhstan near the border with Russia and China. A different route connecting Calais and Ridder is about shorter, mostly using the E30 via Berlin-Moscow-Omsk. The A3 is a Belgian motorway (mainly classified as the E40) extending from the east of Brussels (Boulevard Reyers), through Leuven, onwards to Liège. European Route E314
The European route E 314 is a road in Europe and a part of the United Nations International E-road network. Approximately long, it connects the Belgian university city of Leuven with Aachen, Charlemagne's capital during the early ninth century, and today a bustling commercial centre in Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia.
