''A.M.'' is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Chris Young. It was released on September 17, 2013, via RCA Nashville. Young co-wrote six of the album's eleven tracks. The album includes the singles "Aw Naw", "Who I Am with You" and " Lonely Eyes". Critical reception ''A.M.'' garnered generally positive reception by music critics. At AllMusic, Stephen Thomas Erlewine told that the release was "steeped in modern vernacular," and showed Young "brightening up his sound by leaning on cheerful, chipper pop hooks and a production so gleaming it shows his reflection; he has even chosen to smile on his album cover for the first time ever." Christopher Alan Young (born June 12, 1985) is an American country music singer and songwriter. In 2006, he was the Season 4 winner of the television program ''Nashville Star'', a singing competition on USA. After winning, he was signed to RCA Records Nashville, releasing his Chris Young (album), self-titled debut album that same year. It produced two singles on Hot Country Songs with "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me". His second album, ''The Man I Want to Be'', was released September 1, 2009. Stephen Thomas Erlewine (; born June 18, 1973) is an American music critic and senior editor for the online music database AllMusic. He is the author of many artist biographies and record reviews for AllMusic, as well as a freelance writer, occasionally contributing liner notes. Erlewine was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is a nephew of the former musician and AllMusic founder Michael Erlewine. Casey Michael Beathard ( ; born December 2, 1965) is an American country music songwriter. The son of former NFL general manager Bobby Beathard, and father to current Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback C. J. Beathard, and country music artist Tucker Beathard, he has co-written singles for several country music recording artists, including top-ten singles for Gary Allan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church. Thomas Rhett Akins Sr. (born October 13, 1969) is an American singer and songwriter. Signed to Decca Records between 1994 and 1997, he released two albums for that label (1995's '' A Thousand Memories'' and 1996's '' Somebody New''), followed by 1998's '' What Livin's All About'' on MCA Nashville.
