A'rese
Agharese Emokpae (born January 13, 1988) known simply as A'rese is a Nigerian actress and singer. She first garnered attention as a stage actress starring in Bolanle Austen-Peters' Terra Kulture production ''Wakaa: The Musical'' which led her to participate in and win the first season of ''The Voice Nigeria''. In 2017 she gained popularity for her lead role as Senami Minasu in Africa Magic's hit series ''Jemeji''. In the same year, she released her first single "Uwe No". Background A'rese was born into the arts. Her grandfather is the Nigerian painter and sculptor, Erhabor Emokpae. Education A'rese attended Washington and Lee University where she first discovered her love for musical theater and dance. Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka (born January 28, 1993), popularly known by his stage name Chike is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actor. Bolanle Austen-Peters
Bolanle Austen-Peters (born 4 February 1969), is a Nigerian movie director, theater producer and cultural entrepreneur. She is the founder and artistic director of BAP Productions and the arts and culture center Terra Kulture in Lagos. She has been described by the CNN as the "woman pioneering theater in Nigeria", named one of the most influential women in Africa by Forbes Afrique and been recognised with several awards for her contribution to the arts. Early life and career Austen-Peters was born in 1969 in Ibadan, the Oyo State in the south-western region of Nigeria. 2018 Best Of Nollywood Awards
The 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards was the 10th edition of the ceremony, and took place in Kakanfo conference centre in Ibadan, Oyo state on 9 December 2018. The Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi served as the chief host. The event was co-hosted by comedian, Helen Paul and actor, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey. A total 112 films, including 93 feature films, 9 short films and 1 documentary series were considered.
