Associazione Sportiva Giana Erminio S.r.l. is an Italian football club based in Gorgonzola, Lombardy. The team currently plays in Italy's . History The club was founded in 1909 as ''Unione Sportiva Argentia'', and later adopted the current name in honour of Erminio Giana, an alpino born in Gorgonzola. After decades competing in the Italian regional leagues, in the 2012–13 season the club won the B group of Eccellenza Lombardy, and was promoted to the Serie D for the first time in its history. The following season the team won the A group of the 2013-14 Serie D, obtaining promotion to the 2014-15 Serie C. Since its first season, the club established as a mid-table team in the league, also qualifying to the promotion playoffs during the 2016–17 season. Riccardo Maspero
Riccardo Maspero (born 19 February 1970) is an Italian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, and now a head coach. Club career Maspero's career came to prominence most notably with his time at then-Serie A club Cremonese, with whom he started playing professionally and played in two one-year spells in the Italian top flight. He came into his own during the promotion season of 1992–93 and impressed greatly in a side coached by Luigi Simoni which finished 10th in Serie A during the 1993–94 season. He established a reputation as a gifted playmaker. A move to Sampdoria followed, but he failed to make his mark and returned to Cremonese after one season. Oscar Brevi (born 15 December 1967) is an Italian football manager and a former defender. Career Player Brevi from 1995 to 2009 has played for Solbiatese, Lumezzane, Como, Palermo, Ascoli, Torino and Venezia. The 2019–20 Serie C was the sixth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. The season was scheduled to run from 24 August 2019 to 26 April 2020, however, on 9 March 2020, the Italian government halted the league until 3 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. Serie C did not resume play on this date. On 18 May, it was announced that Italian football would be suspended until 14 June. On 8 June, the Italian Football Federation formally declared Monza, Vicenza, and Reggina as champions of their respective groups, thus awarding them promotion to Serie B, while also confirming the promotion and relegations playoff will take place as planned, based on the league standings by the time of the regular season suspension.
