A.S.D. Sport Club Palazzolo, known as S.C. Palazzolo or just Palazzolo, is an Italian football club based in Palazzolo Acreide, in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily. As of 2019–20 season, the club played in the Eccellenza Sicily division. founded in 1954, the club itself claimed as the successor of the original football club of the '' comune'', which first founded in 1954 and participated in the Prima Categoria in 1955–56 season. Eccellenza Sicily
Eccellenza Sicily ( it, Eccellenza Sicilia) is the regional Eccellenza football division for clubs in Sicily, Italy. It is competed amongst 32 teams, in two different groups (A and B). The winners of the Groups are promoted to Serie D. The clubs who finish second also have the chance to gain promotion, they are entered into a national play-off which consists of two rounds. Fernando Spinelli
Fernando Spinelli is an Italian Argentine footballer who plays for Italian Eccellenza club S.C. Palazzolo. He played for a number of Italian Serie C clubs in the 2000s and 2010s. Club career Early career Spinelli played for Chievo's youth team in 2000–01 Campionato Nazionale Primavera season. Spinelli joined Malaysian club Pahang in December 2003. Italian clubs Spinelli went back to Italy and joined Eccellenza Calabria club Paolana in 2004–05 season. He then left for Ragusa after released by Paolana. From 2006 to 2008 he played for Andria. Francesco Andrea D'Amico (born 17 May 1989) is an Italian football midfielder who currently plays for SC Palazzolo. Club career Calcio Catania D'Amico made his debut for the Sicilian club on 12 February 2009, in a Serie A encounter versus Inter Milan, after being promoted from the youth team by head coach, Walter Zenga.
