A.N.I.M.A.L. (''Acosados Nuestros Indios Murieron Al Luchar''; meaning "Harassed, Our Indians Died While Fighting") is a Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The band's sound is a combination of thrash metal, groove metal and nu metal, and most lyrics deal with issues of ethnic minorities and indigenous people of Latin America; evident in song titles such as ''Sólo Por Ser Indios'' ("Only For Being Indian"), ''Guerra De Razas'' ("Race War"), ''Poder Latino'' ("Latin Power") and ''Raza Castigada'' ("Punished Race"). Power Of Soul (band)
Power of Soul is a Soul music, soul/funk band from Argentina. In 2006, after A.N.I.M.A.L. disbanded, Titi Lapolla (then A.N.I.M.A.L.'s bassist and background vocalist) kept on composing material, which later became the material in Power of Soul. It was by chance that the songs were recorded, as Titi's friend (and producer) Sebastián Subirana listened to the songs and proposed him to record them. By the end of the year, this album was already in the market, and albeit being completely independent, it is also available in important music retail chains as Musimundo and Yenny. Their only album to date was recorded almost exclusively by Titi Lapolla, with guitar solos on six songs by Mariano "El Conde" Vanrafelghem, who later became the official electric guitarist of the band. Martín Carrizo (former A.N.I.M.A.L. drummer) provided sequencing on one track as well as drumming for the band on its early days, to later become the official drummer. Carajo
Carajo was an Argentinian rock band from Buenos Aires. It was formed in 2000 with Marcelo "Corvata" Corvalan on bass and vocals, Andres "Andy" Vilanova on drums and Hernan "Tery" Langer on guitar and backing vocals. The first two share the history of having been part of the band A.N.I.M.A.L. In 2020, the band's breakup was announced. History Carajo was formed in 2000 with Corvata on bass and vocals, Andy on drums and Tery on guitar and backing vocals. Their first show was at "La Diabla" on 4 May with the band Ritual. Jimmy DeGrasso (born March 16, 1963) is an American heavy metal drummer. DeGrasso played with Mama's Boys and Lita Ford before eventually working with Y&T and Megadeth and as a session or touring musician for Ozzy Osbourne (1986), White Lion (1991), Fiona (1992), Suicidal Tendencies (1992–1995), MD.45 (1996), and Alice Cooper (1995–1997). After his dismissal from Megadeth around 2002, DeGrasso worked with Dave Ellefson's F5 (2007–2010) and toured with The David Lee Roth Band (2006), Ministry (2008), Alice Cooper (2008), Hail (2009), Dokken (2012), and Ratt (2014). He also was the drummer of Black Star Riders from December 2012 until March 2017. Slipknot (band)
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Drop C Tuning
Drop C tuning is an alternative guitar tuning where at least one string has been lowered to a C, but most commonly refers to CGCFAD, which can be described as D tuning with a 6th string dropped to C, or drop D tuning transposed down a whole step.
