A.J. Gibson (architect)
Albert John Gibson (April 1, 1862 – December 31, 1927) was one of the most prominent and well-known architects in Missoula, Montana who designed a number of buildings that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. History Gibson was born on a farm near Savannah, Ashland County, Ohio in 1862 and arrived in Butte, Montana. Ashland County is a county located in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,447. Its county seat is Ashland. The Ravalli County Courthouse, at 225 Bedford St. in Hamilton, Montana, was built in 1900. It includes Classical Revival and Romanesque architecture.
