A.D. Ovarense
Associação Desportiva Ovarense commonly known as simply as Ovarense is a Portuguese sports club from the city of Ovar, Aveiro. The club was founded on 19 December 1921. It currently plays at the Estádio Marques da Silva which they have played in since 1954. The stadium also plays host to the club's reserve and youth teams. As a club it is well known for its basketball team who have won nineteen major trophies since their establishment in 1970. The club currently competes in the AF Aveiro Second Division following a seventh-place finish in the 2011–12 AF Aveiro Second Division season. Ovarense was one of the founding members of the Aveiro Football Association along with Anadia, Beira-Mar, Bustelo, Clube dos Galitos, Espinho, Fogueirese, Paços Brandão, Sanjoanense, SC Oliveirense, Sociedade Recreio Artístico and UD Oliveirense. Estádio Marques Da Silva
Parque Marques da Silva is a multi-use stadium in Ovar, Aveiro, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of A.D. Ovarense. Eduardo Luís Marques Kruss Gomes (born 6 December 1955), known as Eduardo Luís, is a Portuguese former football central defender and manager. Club career Born in Loures, Lisbon District, Eduardo Luís started playing professionally with C.S. Marítimo after unsuccessfully emerging through S.L. Benfica's youth system. Miguel Alexandre Areias Lopes (born 2 June 1977), known as Areias, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played mainly as a left-back. José Luís Lopes Costa e Silva (born 17 May 1958), known as José Luís, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Club career Born in Lisbon, José Luís was promoted to hometown's S.L. Benfica's first team at only 18, finishing his first season with 25 matches, 20 starts and two goals as the club won the Primeira Liga championship.
