Associazione Calcio Renate is an Italian association football club based in Renate, Lombardy. It currently plays in Serie C. The club plays their home games at the in Meda instead of their home field, Stadio Mario Riboldi in Renate, to comply with Lega Pro stadium criteria. History The club was founded in 1947 as ''Unione Sportiva Renatese''. On 1961 the club has changed its name with Associazione Calcio Renate. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione On 4 August 2010, the club was admitted for the first time to the professional leagues despite finishing 5th in group B in the 2009–10 Serie D season in order to fill one of the sixteen vacancies available for the 2010-11 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season following the bankruptcies and irregularities of other clubs. Andrea Dossena (; born 11 September 1981) is an Italian football coach and former player who played as a left winger or left back. He is the head coach of Renate. Dossena started his professional career at Verona in 2001, having progressed through the club's youth ranks. Having made 99 league appearances for Verona, he joined Treviso in 2005, and made 21 league appearances for the club. He then joined Udinese in 2006, and had a successful two-year spell, which, after making 63 league appearances, saw him switch to English side Liverpool in July 2008. Spezia Calcio is a professional Association football, football club based in La Spezia, Liguria, Italy. Spezia Calcio was founded in 1906 by the Swiss banker Hermann Hurni (or Hurny in some documents), who played for the early Crystal Palace amateur teams in London during his time there as a student.
