''A-Town Secret Weapon'' is the third studio album by American Atlanta-based rapper Baby D. It was released on April 29, 2008, through Big Oomp/Koch Records. Recording sessions took place at The Kush House. Production was handled by DJ Montay, MC Assault, Freddy B, Joe Durty, Malcolm XX and Mr. Jonz. It features guest appearances from Blazed, BackBone, DJ Jelly, Escobar, Gucci Mane, Loko, Pastor Troy, Sandman, Sean P and Shawty Lo. The album did not reach the US Billboard 200, however, it peaked at No. 53 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, No. 22 on the Top Rap Albums and No. 25 on the Heatseekers Albums. Baby D (rapper)
Donald B. Jenkins (born November 5, 1977), better known as Dizzle and Baby D, is an underground rapper from Atlanta. His first album, '' Off Da Chain'', was released in 2000 on Big Oomp Records. Two years later his follow up, '' Lil' Chopper Toy'' was released. A major label bidding war ensued, garnering the young MC a multimillion-dollar deal with Epic Records. He was signed with Koch Records, and released his first mainstream album, ''A-Town Secret Weapon'', on April 29, 2008. Three years later, in 2011, Baby D signed with Mizay Entertainment. In March 2012, Baby D changed his stage name to Dizzle. On November 1, 2012, he released his third independent album entitled ''About My Grind''. Shawty Lo
Carlos Rico Walker (March 22, 1976 – September 21, 2016), better known as Shawty Lo, was an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He initially came to prominence as a founding member of the Southern hip hop group D4L, and in 2000 founded D4L Records. The group reached national status in 2005 when their single "Laffy Taffy" topped the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and went on to be certified platinum thrice by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2007, Walker began pursuing a solo career with his debut single "Dey Know", which was included on his solo debut album ''Units in the City'', released in February 2008. Micah LeVar "Pastor" Troy (born November 18, 1977) is an American rapper and record producer. He is also a member of the hardcore rap group D.S.G.B. (Down South Georgia Boyz).
