911 (English Group)
911 (pronounced "nine one one") are an English pop group consisting of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn. They were formed in London in 1995 and released their debut single "Night to Remember" in May 1996. This was followed by their debut album ''The Journey'' in March 1997, which was certified Gold by the BPI in November 1997. 911 released two more Silver-certified albums, '' Moving On'' and '' There It Is'', in 1998 and 1999, respectively. ''There It Is'' also produced their only UK number-one single, a cover of "A Little Bit More", which topped the UK Singles Chart in January 1999. In their five years together, 911 scored ten UK top 10 singles. They sold 10 million singles and 6 million albums around the world, and were very popular in South East Asia, where their first two albums went to number one. They split in late 1999. Take That are an English pop group formed in Manchester in 1990. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen. The original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams. Barlow is the group's lead singer and primary songwriter, with Owen and Williams initially providing backing vocals and Donald and Orange serving primarily as dancers. Jason Orange
Jason Thomas Orange (born 10 July 1970) is an English former singer and dancer, known for being a member of Take That. He departed from the group in September 2014. Early life Jason Thomas Orange was born on 10 July 1970 in Manchester, Lancashire to Tony and Jenny Orange a few minutes before his twin brother Justin. He attended South Trafford College for two years beginning in 2001 and studied A-level English, and an access course including psychology, biology and history though he did not progress on to higher education. He was part of the Manchester-based breakdance crew Street Machine in the mid 1980s. They won the Manchester round of the UK Breakdancing Championship in 1985. He also appeared in the show ''The Hit Man and Her'' as one of the featured dancers on the show (and in a duo called Look Twice) in the late 1980s. ''The Hitman and Her'' is a British television dance music programme hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan. The programme was produced for Granada Television and ran from September 1988 until December 1992 on ITV's Night Network. The show toured various nightclubs, broadcasting the music and dancing at the club. The programme was often recorded on a Saturday night, edited on-the-fly, and shown a few hours later in the early hours of Sunday morning. In this era many television channels stopped showing programs altogether in the early hours of the morning, ''The Hitman and Her'' was one of the first UK shows to broadcast regularly late at night. The Honeyz are a British R&B girl group, composed of members Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman. The group had five UK top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000, with "Finally Found" (1998), " End of the Line" (1998), " Love of a Lifetime" (1999), "Never Let You Down" (1999) and "Won't Take It Lying Down" (2000). Their debut album was certified Gold by BPI. The Honeyz formed in 1998 with the original line-up consisting of Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Naima Belkhiati. Former Solid Harmonie member Mariama Goodman replaced Abdi on April 1999. Goodman left on August 2000 with Abdi rejoining, before the group disbanded for the first time in 2003. Five (stylised as 5ive) are a British boy band from London consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, and Scott Robinson. They were formed in 1997 by the same team that managed the Spice Girls before they launched their career. The group were mostly known as a five-piece, consisting of Robinson, Neville, Conlon, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. B*Witched are an Irish girl group consisting of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O'Carroll. Originally active between 1997 and 2002, they enjoyed success in both Europe and North America between 1998 and 2002, releasing two albums and eight singles, all of which made the UK Top 20. Their first four singles, "C'est la Vie", "Rollercoaster", " To You I Belong" and "Blame It on the Weatherman", all reached number one in the UK Singles Chart. Liberty X (originally called Liberty) are a British-Irish group originally consisting of Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young. The group was formed by the five finalists of the 2001 ITV talent show ''Popstars'' who failed to make it into the winning group Hear'Say. In 2013 Liberty X's full members returned for the ITV2 documentary series ''The Big Reunion'' and toured until 2014. Since 2017, Heaton, Taylor and Young have performed as a girls trio. The group released their debut album, '' Thinking It Over'', on 27 May 2002 which featured their biggest single " Just a Little", which gave them international success.
