Ümit Ünal
Ümit Ünal (born 14 April 1965 in Tire, İzmir), is a film director, screenwriter and author. He is the scriptwriter for eight Turkish feature films including ''Teyzem (My Aunt)'' (1986), ''Hayallerim, Askim ve Sen (My Dreams, My Love and You)'' (1987). His first feature film as a director is '' 9'' which won many awards in various film festivals and was the Official Turkish Entry for the 2003 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He wrote and directed seven feature films including Istanbul Tales (Anlat İstanbul), Ara, Gölgesizler (Shadowless), Ses (The Voice) and Nar (The Pomegranate). He has published four books. He currently works as a freelance director/writer, living in Istanbul. Ali Poyrazoğlu
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. The issue of his succession caused a major rift between Muslims and divided them into Shia and Sunni groups. Ali was assassinated in the Grand Mosque of Kufa in 661 by the forces of Mu'awiya, who went on to found the Umayyad Caliphate. Serra Yılmaz (born 13 September 1954) is a Turkish actress. She has appeared in more than forty films since 1983. On a number of films she collaborated with Ferzan Özpetek. Fikret Kuşkan (born 22 April 1965) is a Turkish actor. Kuşkan grew up in İstinye with his parents and four sisters. His father was of Albanian origin. When he was 13, his father died and he moved to Tokat. After three years, he returned to İstanbul and began studying at Hasköy Lisesi. He graduated from Istanbul University's theatre conservatory.
