''8 DAYS'' is a Singaporean online magazine published by Mediacorp. Published in print weekly from 1990 to 2018, it covers a wide range of topics including entertainment, food, movies, TV, music, fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle. It is mainly read by the PMEB crowd and young people, but has an audience that spans all age groups. The magazine is known for its tongue-in-cheek humour and its coverage of the Singapore entertainment scene, and also features regional and international entertainment stories and celebrity features, such as interviews with Hollywood, Hong Kong, Taiwanese and Korean stars. There is usually a main feature story, which often has an interview with a celeb and photos. James Lye (, born 17 June 1969), born ''James Lye Tiang Kang'', is a banking executive and former Mediacorp Singaporean television and Raintree Pictures movie actor. Education Lye was educated at Anglo-Chinese School and Anglo-Chinese Junior College in Singapore, and at Arizona State University in the United States. Professional background Lye first entered the entertainment industry in 1996 with the former Television Corporation of Singapore and has starred in both English and Chinese shows. Iluma
Bugis+ (pronounced as Bugis Plus), formerly Iluma, is a 10-storey shopping mall located 5 minutes from Bugis MRT station. It is located within the Bugis district of Singapore and opened on 28 March 2009. Building Designed by WOHA, the facade of the mall plays with the theme of light and illumination, having high-tech features such as a light- and media facade designed by WOHA in conjunction with Berlin based media artists . The "crystal mesh" facade envelops the convex part of the building and brightly lit billboards will scatter across its flatter sides, unlike those in the Times Square. Days Of Future Past
"Days of Future Past" is a storyline in the Marvel Comics comic book ''The Uncanny X-Men'' issues #141–142, published in 1981. It deals with a dystopian future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history that triggers anti-mutant hysteria. The storyline was produced during the franchise's rise to popularity under the writer/artist team of Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin.
