Triple Eight Race Engineering, (branded as Red Bull Ampol Racing) is an Australian motor racing team competing in the Supercars Championship. The team has been the only Brisbane based V8 Supercar team since its formation, originally operating out of the former Briggs Motor Sport workshop in Bowen Hills before moving to Banyo, Queensland, Banyo in 2009. Triple 8 (a.k.a. 888) were a five-piece then four-piece British boy band, who were signed to Polydor Records and Osmosis Records. The group were promoted as the British equivalent of NSYNC, and rivals to manufactured boy bands such as Westlife and A1.
