The Bank of England Act 1946c 27 is an Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom which came into force on 14 February 1946. The Act brought all of the stock of the Bank of England into public ownership on the "appointed date" (1 March 1946). Repeal Of Obsolete Statutes Act 1856
The 19 & 20 Vict c 64, sometimes referred to as the Repeal of Obsolete Statutes Act 1856, was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Bill for this Act was called the Sleeping Statutes Bill. This Act implemented recommendations made by the Statute Law Commission of 1854. This Act repealed 120 statutes, which had been described as "obsolete". Halsbury's Laws said that this Act was the first Act for statute law revision (in the sense of repealing enactments which are obsolete, spent, unnecessary or superseded, or which no longer serve a useful purpose). The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company (MDHC), formerly the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board (MDHB), owns and administers the dock facilities of the Port of Liverpool, on the River Mersey, England. These include the operation of the enclosed northern dock system that runs from Prince's Dock to Seaforth Dock, in the city of Liverpool and the dock facilities built around the Great Float of the Wirral Peninsula, located on the west side of the river. Peel Ports, the MDHC's parent company, owns other maritime facilities in the area, including the Cammell Laird shipyard, Tranmere Oil Terminal and the Manchester Ship Canal. The Statutes Of The Realm
''The Statutes of the Realm'' is an authoritative collection of Acts of the Parliament of England from the earliest times to the Union of the Parliaments in 1707, and Acts of the Parliament of Great Britain passed up to the death of Queen Anne in 1714. It was published between 1810 and 1825 by the Record Commission as a series of 9 volumes, with volume IV split into two separately bound parts, together with volumes containing an Alphabetical Index and a Chronological Index. The collection contains all Acts included in all earlier printed collections, together with a number of Acts and translations which had not previously been printed. Also, in contrast with previous collections, the full text of each Act is printed regardless of whether it was still in force at the time of publication.
