7th Lux Style Awards
The 2008 Lux Style Awards, officially known as the 7th Lux Style Awards ceremony, presented by the Lux Style Awards honours the best films of 2008 and took place at the DHA Golf Club, Karachi on 29 October 2008. This year, the city of lights played host to the Pakistani Film Industry. The official ceremony took place on 29 Oct, 08, at the Expo Centre, in Karachi. During the ceremony, Lux Style Awards were awarded in 29 competitive categories. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan and internationally on Geo TV. Karachi Expo Centre
Karachi Expo Center is the convention center where Pakistani products are showcased internationally. The center consists of 8 halls. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan also helps support the exhibitions at the center. IDEAS exhibition Pakistani military arms and equipment exhibitions are held under the theme 'IDEAS' (International Defence Exhibition and Seminar). This is a four-day exhibition. Nauman Ijaz (Punjabi and ur, ) is a Pakistani television and film actor, TV anchorperson, and TV show presenter. He is the recipient of several accolades including 10 Lux Style Awards, 7 Hum Awards and a President's Pride of Performance, which was awarded him in 2012. Sohail Asghar (15 June 1954 – 13 November 2021) was a Pakistani TV, Film and Theater actor. Life Sohail was born in Lahore, Pakistan. After completing his education he joined Radio Pakistan. He worked as Radio Jockey from 1978 to 1988. He was introduced in TV drama Raat by a Director at PTV Lahore Nusrat Thakur. He appeared in his first movie named ''Murad'' in 2003. He got award for Outstanding Performance at The 1st Indus Drama Awards for this film.
