''7 Worlds Collide: Live at the St. James'' is an album released in 2001 by 7 Worlds Collide, a musical project of New Zealand singer-songwriter Neil Finn. It is a live recording culled from a series of five shows recorded at the St. James Theatre in Auckland, New Zealand from 2 to 6 April 2001. Notable members of Finn's band included Eddie Vedder, Johnny Marr, Ed O'Brien, Tim Finn, Sebastian Steinberg, Phil Selway, Lisa Germano, and Betchadupa (featuring Neil's son Liam Finn). The album was credited to "Neil Finn and Friends"; Finn would later use "7 Worlds Collide" as the name of the ongoing collaborative project. The title of this album, as well as the 7 Worlds Collide project, is derived from the line "''When your seven worlds collide / whenever I am by your side''" from Crowded House's 1993 single "Distant Sun". 7 Worlds Collide is a musical project by New Zealand singer/songwriter Neil Finn. The project brings together Finn and other musicians in support of charity. Finn has released two recordings associated with the project. The initial project release was a 2001 live album, credited to "Neil Finn and Friends", and titled ''7 Worlds Collide''. A second recording, titled '' The Sun Came Out'', was released in August 2009. Liam Finn
Liam Mullane Finn (born 24 September 1983) is a New Zealand singer and musician. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he moved to New Zealand as a child. He is the son of musicians Sharon and Neil Finn. In 2020, he joined his father's band, Crowded House. Personal life Finn married his long-term partner Janina Percival in June 2015. Career Live shows In 2008 and 2009 Finn opened for Eddie Vedder's solo tour throughout America. Four Seasons In One Day
"Four Seasons in One Day" is a song by rock group Crowded House, released as a single in June 1992.
