704th Detached Regiment Of Radiological, Chemical, And Biological Protection
The 704th Separate Regiment of Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Protection (704th DR RCBP, Unit #A0807) - is the only separate (independent) formation of the Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is located in Sambir in Lviv Oblast, and commanded by Colonel Vasyl Pugin. History In 1990 when the Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops within the Armed Forces of Ukraine were established, they numbered five brigades and 15 similar battalions of this type. All of the brigades and battalions apart from the 704th Detached Regiment were eventually disestablished.
