64th Bodil Awards
The 64th Bodil Awards were held on 20 February 2011 at the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen, Denmark, honouring the best national and foreign films of 2010. Ditte Hansen and Louise Mieritz hosted the event. ''Submarino'' had most nominations, with five, but the ceremony did not have a clear winner. '' R'' won the award for Best Danish Film and its protagonist, Pilou Asbæk, won the award for Best Actor while Trine Dyrholm was named Best Actress (''In a Better World''). Kurt Ravn ('' Nothing's All Bad'') and Patricia Schumann ('' Submarino'') won the awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress. '' Armadillo'' won both the awards for Best Documentary and Best Cinematographer. Tobias Lindholm received a Special Award for his contribution as a screenwriter both to ''R'' and ''Submarino''. Bodil Awards
The Bodil Awards are the major Danish film awards given by the Danish Film Critics Association. The awards are presented annually at a ceremony in Copenhagen. Established in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe. The awards are given without regard to commercial interests or box-office sales, but rather to highlight the films or actors that the critics regard as most worthy. The name of the award honours two of the most important actresses in Danish cinema, Bodil Kjer and Bodil Ipsen. The statuette is made of porcelain, and was designed by Danish artist and sculpted by Svend Jespersen of Bing & Grøndahl. Tobias Lindholm
Tobias Lindholm (born 5 July 1977) is a Danish screenwriter and film director. His 2015 directed film ''A War'' was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In addition to ''A War'', he has directed the films '' R'' (2010), ''A Hijacking'' (2012), and ''The Good Nurse'' (2022). He has also written for multiple films and TV series. Early life Lindholm was born in Næstved in 1977. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen in 2007. Career Lindholm first received attention for his work as a television writer on the popular Danish political TV-series ''Borgen'', credited on all 20 episodes of the series' first two seasons, either as an episode writer or storyline contributor. Ellen Gunilla Hillingsø (born 9 March 1967) is a Danish actress who is known primarily for her work in films. She is also a voice actress, narrating audio books. Early life Ellen Gunilla Hillingsø was born on 9 March 1967 in Copenhagen to Kjeld Georg Hilligsøe Hillingsø, then a lieutenant in the Danish Royal Life Guards, and Ellen Birgitta Hillingsø (née Juel), an antiques dealer. Hillingsø's maternal grandfather was Gregers Juel, a chamberlain and a Knight (1st Class) of the Order of the Dannebrog. Mikael Åke Persbrandt (; born 25 September 1963) is a Swedish actor. In Swedish films, he is perhaps best known for playing Gunvald Larsson in the ''Beck'' series of movies. ''Brotherhood'' is a 2010 American thriller film directed by Will Canon and co-written by Doug Simon and Canon.
