62nd Bodil Awards
The 62nd Bodil Awards were held on 1 March 2009 in Imperial Cinema in Copenhagen, Denmark, honouring the best national and foreign films of 1009. Lasse Rimmer hosted the event. Henrik Ruben Genz's '' Terribly Happy'' was the big winner at the ceremony, receiving both the award for Best Film and for Best Actor and Actress in leading roles. ''There Will Be Blood'' won the award for Best American Film while Swedish '' Let The Right One In'' won Best Non-American Foreign Film. Jørgen Leth received a Bodil Honorary Award and Kåre Bjerkø received a Special Award for having scored three of the nominated films. Bodil Awards
The Bodil Awards are the major Danish film awards given by the Danish Film Critics Association. The awards are presented annually at a ceremony in Copenhagen. Established in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe. The awards are given without regard to commercial interests or box-office sales, but rather to highlight the films or actors that the critics regard as most worthy. The name of the award honours two of the most important actresses in Danish cinema, Bodil Kjer and Bodil Ipsen. The statuette is made of porcelain, and was designed by Danish artist and sculpted by Svend Jespersen of Bing & Grøndahl. Gaven
Gaven is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. It was created out of the former district of Nerang and the southern segment of Albert in the 2001 redistribution, and encompasses the northern growth corridor of the Gold Coast. The current Member of Parliament is Meaghan Scanlon of the Labor Party. History Gaven was created in 1999, named after the Gaven Way (a section of the Pacific Motorway). Kim Bodnia (born 12 April 1965) is a Danish actor, writer, and director. He became widely known for his role as police detective Martin Rohde in the Scandinavian crime drama series '' The Bridge''.
