''600 Hours of Edward'' is a 2009 novel by Craig Lancaster, about Edward, a man with Asperger syndrome. As the title implies, the novel is about six hundred separate hours in Edward's life, as recorded in his journal. Asperger Syndrome
Asperger syndrome (AS), also known as Asperger's, is a former neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by significant difficulties in Interpersonal relationship, social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behaviour and interests.
