5th Lux Style Awards
The 5th Lux Style Awards ceremony was held in Expo Center in Karachi, Pakistan. The show was hosted by Shaan Shahid, Meera and from the members of BNN. The show had the performances by Mehreen Raheel, Faisal Qureshi, Ali Zafar, Faisal Rehman, and Mehreen Syed. Some of the film and music categories were removed from the award. Karachi Expo Centre
Karachi Expo Center is the convention center where Pakistani products are showcased internationally. The center consists of 8 halls. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan also helps support the exhibitions at the center. IDEAS exhibition Pakistani military arms and equipment exhibitions are held under the theme 'IDEAS' (International Defence Exhibition and Seminar). This is a four-day exhibition. Noman Ijaz
Nauman Ijaz (Punjabi and ur, ) is a Pakistani television and film actor, TV anchorperson, and TV show presenter. He is the recipient of several accolades including 10 Lux Style Awards, 7 Hum Awards and a President's Pride of Performance, which was awarded him in 2012. Talat Hussain (actor)
Talat Hussain Warsi, is a Pakistani actor. He is the son of Altaf Hussain Warsi and Shaista Begum who was one of the pioneering voices of Radio Pakistan, Karachi. Career Hussain has worked in several foreign films, television drama serials and long plays, including Channel Four's television serial ''Traffik'' and '' Family Pride.'' In 2006, Hussain won the Amanda Award for the Best Supporting Role in Norwegian film ''Import-export'' (2005). He also worked in the Indian film ''Sautan Ki Beti'' and made a guest appearance in ''Jinnah'' (1998 film). Talat Hussain's career has been recorded by the author Huma Mir in the book ''Yeh Hain Talat Hussain''. Geo Television Network is a television channel based in Pakistan. It was established in May 2002 and is owned by the Jang Media Group. The channel began its test transmission on 14 August 2002, with regular transmission beginning on 1 October 2002. History Geo Network was founded in May 2002 by Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. It started out with the launch of its flagship channel Geo News in October 2002. Hamid Mir joined the channel and became one of the first journalists to join Geo News.
