Five (stylised as 5ive) are a British boy band from London consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, and Scott Robinson. They were formed in 1997 by the same team that managed the Spice Girls before they launched their career. The group were mostly known as a five-piece, consisting of Robinson, Neville, Conlon, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. Five enjoyed moderate success worldwide, particularly in their native United Kingdom, as well as most of the rest of Europe and Asia. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), Five has been certified for 1.6 million albums and 2.8 million singles in the UK. The group sold around 20 million copies worldwide. They split up on 27 September 2001. Robinson, Love, Neville, and Brown briefly reformed the group without Conlon (who departed before their 2001 split) in September 2006, with a new management team headed by music manager Richard Beck. The Big Reunion
''The Big Reunion'' is a British reality-documentary series that began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013. The show featured chart-topping bands who were big in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme followed them as they reunited for the first time in a decade and went through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance. The first series featured Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Blue, Honeyz and Liberty X. Another mini-series, entitled ''The Big Reunion: On Tour'', aired from 5–19 September 2013. Scott Robinson (singer)
Scott James Timothy Robinson (born 22 November 1979) is an English singer best known for being a member of the boy band Five. He currently presents the Drivetime show on Radio Essex. Early life Robinson and his two sisters, Nicola and Hayley, lived in Pitsea, Essex. He attended Chalvedon Comprehensive School until year 9 when he left to move full-time to the Sylvia Young Theatre School. He enjoyed initial acting success with small parts in ''Casualty'', ''Hale and Pace'', ''The Bill'' and ''EastEnders''. The Big Reunion (concerts)
The Big Reunion is a 2013 series of concerts featuring British pop groups Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, Liberty X and Blue, and Irish group B*Witched. The groups, who were big names in the UK pop music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s, reunited for the ITV2 reality-documentary series ''The Big Reunion'' (apart from Blue, who had already been reunited since 2011), a show which follows them meeting again for the first time in a decade and rehearsing ahead of their comeback performance. Although the bands were initially only to perform a single concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo on 26 February 2013, high demand for tickets and the popularity of the series led to a full arena tour being announced. The arena tour consisted of 14 shows that took place during May 2013, although Blue only performed at four of these shows due to their own tour commitments. Abz Love
Richard Abidin Breen (born 29 June 1979), better known as Abz Love, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, producer and TV personality. Love was a member and the lead singer of the boy band Five. In 2003, Love released his debut solo album ''Abstract Theory'', which earned him a further three top-ten hits. After years out of the spotlight, Love featured on ITV2's ''The Big Reunion'' in 2012. In 2013 he appeared on ''All Star Mr & Mrs'' and became the runner-up for Channel 5's ''Celebrity Big Brother 12''. Ritchie Neville
Richard Neville Dobson (born 23 August 1979) is a British singer, songwriter, sommelier and restaurateur from Solihull, England. He is most noted for being a member of the boy band Five. Career Music The lure of the stage brought him to London where, in 1996 at the age of 17, he saw an advertisement in the national newspaper ''The Stage'', asking for young male singers to audition for a new boy band with "attitude and edge". Neville, J Brown, Sean Conlon, Abs Breen and Scott Robinson, who had during the audition arranged themselves into a group, were subsequently picked and later became Five. Because there were two members named 'Richard' in the band (Abs was born Richard Abidin Breen), Breen used his nickname from his middle name whereas Neville kept his name but shortened to "Ritchie" instead. Jason "J" Brown
Jason Paul "J" Brown (born 13 June 1976) is an English singer and rapper. He is best known as a former member and lead singer of boy band Five. He was the oldest member of the band, which also included Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Abz Love and Scott Robinson. In 2012, it was announced that Five, along with 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Honeyz and Liberty X, would be reuniting for the ITV2 reality series ''The Big Reunion'', and although Brown initially agreed to take part in the reunion, he later backed out, claiming that he no longer wants to be in the public eye. Liberty X
Liberty X (originally called Liberty) are a British-Irish group originally consisting of Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young. The group was formed by the five finalists of the 2001 ITV talent show ''Popstars'' who failed to make it into the winning group Hear'Say. In 2013 Liberty X's full members returned for the ITV2 documentary series ''The Big Reunion'' and toured until 2014. Since 2017, Heaton, Taylor and Young have performed as a girls trio. Honeyz
The Honeyz are a British R&B girl group, composed of members Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman. The group had five UK top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000, with "Finally Found" (1998), " End of the Line" (1998), " Love of a Lifetime" (1999), "Never Let You Down" (1999) and "Won't Take It Lying Down" (2000). Their debut album was certified Gold by BPI. The Honeyz formed in 1998 with the original line-up consisting of Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Naima Belkhiati. Former Solid Harmonie member Mariama Goodman replaced Abdi on April 1999. Goodman left on August 2000 with Abdi rejoining, before the group disbanded for the first time in 2003. Sean Conlon
Sean Kieran Conlon (born 20 May 1981) is an English singer best known as a member of boy band Five before leaving in 2001 a few months before the group announced their split. Conlon rejoined the group in 2013 as part of the ITV2 series ''The Big Reunion''. Early life Conlon was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, of Irish and Trinidadian descent and has four siblings. He grew up in Horsforth and attended St Mary's RC Primary School and St. Mary's Catholic High School, Menston. Atomic Kitten is an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose current members are Liz McClarnon, Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton. 911 (UK Band)
911 (pronounced "nine one one") are an English pop group consisting of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn. They were formed in London in 1995 and released their debut single "Night to Remember" in May 1996.
