Mix 102.3 (call sign: 5ADD) is a commercial FM radio station in Adelaide, Australia, owned by ARN. Mix 102.3 plays current hits and a variety of 1980s and 1990s music (Hot Adult Contemporary), primarily targeted at the 25-54 age group. Adelaide's Mix 102.3 is part of the KIIS Network with sister stations in other major Australian cities - KIIS 106.5 Sydney, KIIS 101.1 Melbourne, KIIS 97.3 Brisbane, 96FM Perth and Mix 106.3 Canberra. Perth

Dean Jaensch
Dean Harold Jaensch (27 October 1936 – 17 January 2022) was an Australian political scientist and a Professor of Political and International Studies at The Flinders University of South Australia. Jaensch was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), a Master of Arts and PhD from the University of Adelaide. He wrote many highly regarded books (14) on political parties, electoral politics and voting behaviour in Australian politics, and also focussed on South Australian and Northern Territory politics, federalism within the Anglosphere and empirical methodology. He lectured at Flinders University from the early 1970s until retirement in 2001. He was an adjunct Professor with the Department of Politics and Public Policy. Tony Pilkington
Tony Pilkington is a South Australian radio personality. He is best known for "Bazz and Pilko", his long running breakfast show partnership with Barry Ion. Their show aired in Adelaide from 1976 to 1984, then Sydney from 1985 to 1991, then back in Adelaide until 1996. He continued to work at Adelaide's 5AA until retiring in 2010. After nine years of semi-retirement, Pilko is set for a return to Adelaide airwaves once again. As of 2020 Pilkington will host the afternoon show, 12:30 to 3pm weekdays on Adelaide's 5AA. Barry Ion
Barry Vincent Ion (born 9 October 1941) is a former Australian rules footballer and radio personality. He played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL), Yarraville in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), and Woodville in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He became a well known radio personality in Adelaide and Sydney. Ion started in radio early, commentating football matches for Melbourne radio in 1960, while also playing with the Carlton Rovers. He joined his elder brother, Graham Ion, at Footscray in 1961 and played with him in the 1961 VFL Grand Final, as a half back flanker. The grand final was just his sixth league game, having played just four home and away matches before the finals series. He made 29 appearances over the next two seasons, but then struggled with injuries, playing just five more games. Keith Conlon
Keith Conlon, LL.B. 1968, B.A. 1968 (University of Adelaide), OAM, is a veteran Australian broadcaster based in Adelaide. Conlon previously presented talk radio station 5AA's breakfast program with Jane Reilly, and formerly with Jon Blake, John Kenneally and Tony Pilkington. He is also the current chairman of the Crows Foundation for children in need. In 1971, The University of Adelaide's Department of Adult Education appointed Conlon as the Producer/Manager of its new community radio station which commenced broadcasting as VL5UV on 28 June 1972. He also formerly hosted ''Postcards SA'' on the Nine Network from 1995 until it was cancelled in November 2011. Conlon has also worked at ABC 891 where his former colleague John Kenneally was his producer. Bob Francis (radio)
Robert Neville "Bob" Francis (11 March 1939 – 12 November 2016) was an Egyptian-born Australian talk back radio presenter at radio station 5AA in Adelaide. His program aired between 8pm and 12 midnight on weekdays and was rated as Adelaide's most popular talk back program. In July 2013, it was announced that Francis was to retire at the end of that year. The following month he announced that he would retire from broadcasting on 8 August 2013 after 57 years. A variety of radio, television, media, and music celebrities expressed their appreciation towards his career through taped segments being aired during his last week of broadcast. Major Broadcasting Network
The Major Broadcasting Network was an important part of the Australian broadcasting scene from 1938 until the 1970s. History and background In 1938 David Worrall, manager of 3DB Melbourne, launched the Major Broadcasting Network which up until its closure in the 1970s was Australia's second most important radio network, after the Macquarie Radio Network. At inception, the Major Network was made up of stations in all mainland state capital cities, i.e. 2UE, 3DB, 4BK, 5AD, 6PR. They were soon to be joined by 7HT.
