The 4th Saturn Awards were awarded to media properties and personalities deemed by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films to be the best in Science fiction film, science fiction, fantasy film, fantasy and Horror film, horror released in the year 1976. ''The Blue Bird'' is a 1976 American-Soviet children's fantasy film directed by George Cukor. The screenplay by Hugh Whitemore, Alfred Hayes, and Aleksei Kapler is based on the 1908 play '' L'Oiseau bleu'' by Maurice Maeterlinck.
