''4Minute World'' is the fifth extended play by South Korean girl group 4Minute, released on March 17, 2014. It features the lead single "Whatcha Doin' Today". 4Minute (, often stylized as 4MINUTE) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment. The members of the group were Son Ji-hyun, Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, Hyuna, Kim Hyuna and Kwon So-hyun. The group was known for its edgy dance-pop style and "girl crush" image that attracted a large female fan base. The group debuted in June 2009 with the single, "Hot Issue." Son Ji-hyun
Nam Ji-hyun ( on January 9, 1990) is a South Korean actress and former singer. She is best known as the former leader and a vocalist of now-disbanded South Korean girl group 4Minute. Early life Nam Ji-hyun was born on January 9, 1990 in Incheon, South Korea. Jihyun auditioned for JYP Entertainment but was eliminated. However, she then joined Cube Entertainment as a result of Cube Entertainment's founder, Hong Seung-sung, being recommended by JYP's recruitment department in finding members to form 4Minute. On February 24, 2015, she graduated from Sangmyung University receiving a degree in Contemporary Ballet and a lifetime achievement award at the university's graduation ceremony. Kwon So-hyun (born August 30, 1994), also known mononymously as Sohyun, is a South Korean singer and actress. She was known as a member of the South Korean girl group 4Minute, under Cube Entertainment. She is also a former member of the South Korean girl group, Orange. Before June 15, 2016 (end of her contract with Cube), Kwon left 4Minute and the record label along with members Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, and Jeon Ji-yoon.
