4BH 1116 is the on-air identifier ( ACMA callsign: 4BH) of a radio station in Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. It broadcasts on a frequency is 1116 kHz in the AM radio band and is simulcasted in DAB+ on channel 9B. It is owned by Nine Entertainment Co and run under a lease agreement by Ace Radio. Ian Keenan (born 14 October) is an Australian radio announcer and creator of the website Hitstories.net. Radio His is a long career which began in 1979. George Lovejoy
George Lovejoy (15 December 1923 – 4 February 2003) was an Australian radio sports commentator who is known for his broadcasts of Queensland rugby league football matches in the 1950s and 1960s. He called rugby league for 19 years – 652 games straight – and coined the phrase ' the greatest game of all'. Nicknamed "Mr Football", Lovejoy worked for the 4BH station and was a household name in Queensland in the days before television was widespread.
