451st Intelligence Squadron
The United States Air Force's 451st Intelligence Squadron is an intelligence unit located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The 451st IS was previously inactivated at RAF Menwith Hill, UK, in 2015. The squadron descends from the 10th Radio Squadron, which was activated at Brooks Air Force Base and was active between November 1949 and October 1950. The squadron was reactivated twice, firstly in 1991, when it was consolidated with the 6951st Electronic Security Squadron, later becoming the 451st until it was inactivated in 2015 The 451st IS was previously inactivated at RAF Menwith Hill, UK, in 2015. The 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480th ISR Wing) is headquartered at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. Fort Gordon, formerly known as Camp Gordon, is a United States Army installation established in October 1941. It is the current home of the United States Army Signal Corps, United States Army Cyber Command, and the Cyber Center of Excellence. Ministry of Defence Chicksands or more simply MoD Chicksands is a UK Ministry of Defence station located 7.7 miles (12.4 km) south east of Bedford, Bedfordshire and 11.6 miles (18.7 km) north east of Luton, Bedfordshire.
