The president of Bangladesh ( bn, বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি — ) officially the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh ( bn, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি —) is the head of state of Bangladesh and commander-in-chief of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. Bappa Mazumder
Shubhashish Mazumder Bappa (born 5 February 1972), commonly known as Bappa Mazumder, is a Bangladeshi singer, lyricist and national film award winner composer. He is the lead singer of the rock band Dalchhut. Bappa is famous for his Bengali romantic compositions and is known as The Melody King of Bangladesh. Early life and career Bappa Mazumder was brought up in a musical family. As both of his parents were musicians, he did not need to go outside to learn music. Momtaz Begum (born 5 May 1974) is a Bangladeshi folk singer and the incumbent Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Manikganj-2 constituency since 2014 and Reserved Women's Seat-21 during 2009–2013. Faruq Mahfuz Anam (born 2 October 1964), known mononymously as James or Guru James, is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer, also known as a playback singer. He is the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the rock band Nagar Baul (previously ''Feelings''), which he founded in 1977. He is often referred by the name "Guru" which means "Master or Teacher". James was born and raised in Naogaon, but grew up in Chittagong city. Ivan Shahriar is a Bangladeshi choreographer. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Dance Director for the film '' Dhat Teri Ki'' (2017). Career Shahriar leads a dance troupe called ''Sohag Dance Group'' and is the chairman of an advertising agency ''Exposure BD''. On 12 September 2020, Shahriar was arrested in the Niketon area of Dhaka for his alleged involvement in sex trafficking to Dubai. According to the CID officials, Shahriar and two other members of a human trafficking ring that forced young women into prostitution in Dubai after trafficking them as tourists. M Farid Ahmed Hazra (known as Farid Ahmed; 3 October 1960 – 13 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi composer and music director. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director for his music direction in the film ''Tumi Robe Nirobe'' (2017). As of 2010, he had over 250 scores for television serials and almost 2,000 scores for short television plays to his credit. Career Ahmed was born on 3 October 1960, in the Kalabagan neighborhood in Dhaka. He played bass for film in 1983. He then worked as an assistant for composer Sheikh Sadi Khan.
