The 4th Tank Division () was formed on 1 April 1969 from 237th Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from 32nd Army Division, 252nd Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from 46th Army Division, 253rd Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from 47th Army Division and 397th Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from 192nd Army Division. Jilin (; alternately romanized as Kirin or Chilin) is one of the three provinces of Northeast China. Its capital and largest city is Changchun. The 192nd Division () was created in February 1949 under ''the Regulation of the Redesignations of All Organizations and Units of the Army'', issued by Central Military Commission on November 1, 1948, basing on the 12th Brigade, 4th Column of Huabei Military Region. Its history could be traced back to 2nd Independent Brigade of Jinchaji Military Region, formed in March 1946. The division was a part of 64th Corps. Under the flag of 192nd division it took part in the Chinese Civil War, especially the Pingjin Campaign. The division was composed of 574th, 575th and 576th Infantry Regiments. The SU-76 ('' Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 76'') was a Soviet light self-propelled gun used during and after World War II. The SU-76 was based on a lengthened version of the T-70 light tank chassis and armed with the 76 mm divisional gun M1942 (ZiS-3). Its quite simple construction and multipurpose combat role made it the second most produced Soviet armoured fighting vehicle of World War II, after the T-34 medium tank. History Design of the SU-76 began in November 1942, when the State Defense Committee ordered the construction of infantry support self-propelled guns armed with the ZiS-3 76.2 mm anti-tank gun and the M-30 122 mm howitzer. Type 59 Tank
The Type 59 (; industrial designation: WZ-120) main battle tank is a Chinese-produced version of the Soviet T-54A tank, an early model of the ubiquitous T-54/55 series. The first vehicles were produced in 1958 and it was accepted into service in 1959, with serial production beginning in 1963. Over 10,000 of the tanks were produced by the time production ended in 1985 with approximately 5,500 serving with the Chinese armed forces.
