40 (TV Channel)
40+ is a British television channel that shows pornographic content on a pay-per-view basis. The channel has been owned by MG Global Entertainment (Europe) Limited since 2020 when MG acquired the channel's previous owner, Portland TV. The channel began broadcasting on Sky in June 2000 as one of a group of channels called Red Hot TV. The channels were owned by Portland TV which also owned the pornographic subscription channel Television X. Portland TV was a division of Northern & Shell until it was sold in April 2016 in a management buy-out. The name of the group of channels was changed to Xrated in 2017, and now only a single channel remains, which is currently called 40+. "40", also known as "40 (How Long)", is a song by Irish rock band U2. It is the tenth and final track on their 1983 album, ''War''. The song is noted for its live performances; guitarist the Edge and bassist Adam Clayton trade instruments during performances of it, and as it was commonly played to end their concerts, the band would leave the stage one-by-one as the audience continued to sing the refrain "How long to sing this song?". The lyrics are a modification of the Bible's Psalm 40. The song was released as a commercial single only in Germany, simply to promote U2's appearance at the Loreley Festival in 1983. The single was released on a 7-inch gramophone record with a B-side of the album version of "Two Hearts Beat as One". 40 Harmonia
Harmonia (minor planet designation: 40 Harmonia) is a large main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by German-French astronomer Hermann Goldschmidt on March 31, 1856, and named after Harmonia, the Greek goddess of harmony. The name was chosen to mark the end of the Crimean War. The asteroid is orbiting the Sun with a period of and a relatively low eccentricity of 0.046. It has a cross-sectional size of 107.6 km. The spectrum of 40 Harmonia matches an S-type (silicate) in the Tholen classification system, and is similar to primitive achondrite meteorites. Photometric observations at the Organ Mesa Observatory in Las Cruces, New Mexico during 2008–09 were used to generate a light curve that showed four unequal minima and maxima per cycle. The .40 Super is a powerful automatic pistol cartridge developed in 1996 and introduced to the market by Triton Cartridge. The cartridge was co-developed by Fernando Coelho and Tom Burczynski. It never attained mainstream success, Triton Cartridge folded, and supplies and support is now very limited. Malt liquor is a type of mass market beer with high alcohol content, most closely associated with North America.
