Toaru Majutsu No Index
is a Japanese light novel series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura, which has been published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint since April 2004 in a total of three separate series. The first ran from April 2004 to October 2010, the second from March 2011 to July 2019, and the third from February 2020 to present. The plot is set in a world where supernatural abilities exist. The light novels focus on Toma Kamijo, a young high school student in Academy City with an unusual ability in his right hand as he encounters an English nun named Index. Nobuhiko Okamoto

Linebarrels Of Iron
is a Japanese manga series created by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The series was first serialized in Akita Shoten's monthly ''seinen'' manga magazine, ''Champion Red'', in 2005. It has since been compiled into 24 tankōbon, as of October 20, 2014. The story centers on Kouichi Hayase, a fourteen-year-old boy living a mediocre life, until an accident turns him into the pilot of a gigantic robot called "Linebarrel" and leads him to encounter a mysterious girl. An anime adaptation of the manga series was announced in the February issue of ''Animage'' magazine. The anime is directed by Masamitsu Hidaka and animated by Gonzo.
