Gianfranco Parolini (20 February 1925 in Rome, Italy – 26 April 2018 in Rome, Italy) was an Italian film director. He is often credited as Frank Kramer. Among his films are ''The Sabata Trilogy'', several sword and sandal films, most of the Kommissar X films and a number of Spaghetti Westerns. He claimed to have written over 100 thriller novels before becoming an assistant to Giuseppe D'Amato. Vassili Karis (born Vassilis Karamesinis on 22 September 1938) is a Greek-born Italian actor, mainly active in the Spaghetti Western film genre. Life and career Born in Patras, Karis was first active in the peplum genre, in which he was credited with his birth name or with the stage name Marco Vassilli.Enrico Lancia, Fabio Melelli. Alan Steel
Sergio Ciani (7 September 1931 – 5 September 2015), best known as Alan Steel, was an Italian bodybuilder and actor. Born in Rome, Ciani started his career as a stuntman; then he became the body double for Steve Reeves in ''Hercules Unchained'' and in '' The Giant of Marathon'', in which he also played a minor role. In the early 1960s he adopted the stage name Alan Steel and starred the leading roles in a number of peplum films with good commercial success. He had the distinction as being one of the very few native Italians to play the heroes of the peplum features. In addition to playing roles named either Hercules, Ursus, or Samson, he played Robin Hood in the 1976 adventure film ''Storia di arcieri, pugni e occhi neri''. With the decline of the genre Steel thinned out his appearances, until his retirement at the end of the 1970s. Rosalba Neri (born 19 June 1939) is a retired Italian actress. Early life Born in Forlì, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Neri was regarded for her beauty even in youth, winning a beauty pageant when she was still young. Eventually pursuing an acting career, she attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Center for Experimental Cinematography) in Rome. She also received an offer to attend the Actors Studio in the United States, but did not accept. Career She made her film debut in 1958 in the film ''Mogli pericolose''. She is uncredited in this comedy which was directed by Luigi Comencini. Her second part was in Roberto Rossellini's prize-winning drama '' Era notte a Roma'' in 1960. Many sources list some earlier films for her, but this is a confusion with another Italian actress, the very similarly named Rosalina Neri.
