Derek Yee Tung-sing () is a film producer, director and a former Shaw Brothers actor from Hong Kong. Early life Yee was born Yee Tung-sing in Hong Kong on 28 December 1957, the son of Yee Kwong (爾光), a film producer from Tientsin (Tianjin), and Hung Wei (紅薇), an actress of half Manchu, half Mongol ethnicity. Yee's elder half-brothers Paul Chun and David Chiang as well as his elder half-sister Yim Wai were also actors. Career In 1977, Yee became an actor for Shaw Brothers Studio in Hong Kong. Yee has starred in over 40 movies in Hong Kong. This was between 1975 and 1986, during the time when Shaw Brothers Studio were still producing movies. Yee became a screenwriter and film director. ''A Witness Out of the Blue'' is a 2019 Hong Kong crime thriller film produced by Derek Yee and written and directed by Andrew Fung. Louis Koo Tin-lok ( zh, t=古天樂; born 21 October 1970) is a Hong Kong actor, singer and film producer. He began his professional career as an actor in local television series, winning TVB's Best Actor award in 1999 and 2001. After 2001, he fully focused on film career and became one of the stalwarts of the Hong Kong film industry. Norris Wong Yee-lam (; born 1980s; ) is a Hong Kong novelist, songwriter, screenwriter, and director. She made her feature length directorial debut with ''My Prince Edward'' (2019), for which she won the Award for Best New Director and was nominated for Best Screenplay at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards. Ray Yeung () is a screenwriter and independent film director. His films often center on gay stories. In 2021, he was presented with the Artist of the Year for Film award from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
