Daniel George McKenzie (June 24, 1860 – February 4, 1940) was a farmer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Cumberland County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1920 to 1933 as a United Farmers and then Liberal-Conservative member. He was born in Malagash, Nova Scotia, the son of Donald McKenzie. McKenzie was married twice: to Mary McKenzie in 1884 and then to Julia Cameron. John James Kinley
John James Kinley (October 15, 1881 – August 23, 1971) was an industrialist, pharmaceutical chemist, journalist, ship owner and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Lunenburg County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1916 to 1925 and from 1928 to 1930 and Queens—Lunenburg in the House of Commons of Canada from 1935 to 1945 as a Liberal member. George Clyde Nowlan
George Clyde Nowlan, (14 August 1898 – 31 May 1965) was a Canadian Member of Parliament and Cabinet Minister. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, he served from 9 August 1962–21 April 1963 as the Minister of Finance in the administration of John Diefenbaker, and was also responsible for the CBC. Early life and education Nowlan was a soldier in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. After the war ended, he returned to the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia and attended Acadia University to study for a Bachelor of Arts, graduating in 1920. Reginald Tucker Caldwell (June 11, 1885 – March 2, 1939) was a grocer, real estate broker and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. Moses Elijah McGarry (February 19, 1878 – June 11, 1949) was a physician and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. Inverness is a provincial electoral district on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Initially created with the name "Juste-au-Corps", the electoral district of Inverness has existed in various forms since 1836. The name was changed to Inverness after lobbying by William Young. It existed continuously as Inverness County until 1981 when it was divided into Inverness North and Inverness South. It was re-formed in 1993.
