Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Taipei)
The National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall () is located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is a memorial to the Republic of China's Father of the Nation, National Father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and was completed in 1972. The total building area covers in an open space of . It contains displays of Sun's life and the revolution he led, and is also a multi-purpose social, educational and cultural center for the public. Description The main entrance to the hall contains a statue of Sun Yat-sen. Every hour, there is a formal changing of the guards, which is a popular tourist attraction. The building also includes a performance hall, an exhibition center of about , a multimedia theatre, an audio-visual center, lecture halls, and a library with over 300,000 books. Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation (PTS Foundation/Public Television Service Foundation, ), also called Public Television Service (PTS, ), is the first independent public broadcasting institution in Taiwan, which broadcasts the Public Television Service Taiwan. Kuo Tzu-chien
Kuo Tzu-chien (; born March 14, 1964) is a Taiwanese comedian, host and actor. Personal life Kuo is married with a son. His first marriage in 1995 lasted only 3 months. Former Mayor of Hsinchu City Lin Junq-tzer is his older cousin. In 2012, Kuo launched a claim for 460 million won in compensation against the Ramada Hotel and Suites Seoul in Namdaemun after he suffered hot water burns from a defective electric kettle which bottom part was already broken before he checked into the hotel. He was on a holiday trip in Seoul with his wife and son in January 2012 when the incident happened. His claim was subsequently dismissed by the Seoul Central District Court in August 2013. Chris Hung
Chris Hung (; born 19 March 1963) is a Taiwanese enka and Hokkien pop singer and television host. Widely known as the "king of Taiwanese pop," he has won five Golden Melody Awards and one Golden Bell Award. The eldest of three sons born to singer Ang It-hong, Hung's relationship with his father deteriorated to estrangement due to the strict musical training Hung received from Ang, as well as Ang's multiple marriages.
