36th Goya Awards
The 36th Goya Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences (AACCE), honoured the best in Spanish films of 2021 and took place at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia on 12 February 2022. The ceremony was broadcast by RTVE on La1, TVE Internacional, RTVE Play and Radio Nacional de España, RNE. The shortlists for every category were unveiled on early November, with 160 films being selected to compete. Nominations were read by actors Nathalie Poza and José Coronado on 29 November 2021. ''The Good Boss'' received the most nominations with a record-breaking twenty. It was followed by ''Maixabel'', with fourteen nominations, and ''Parallel Mothers'', with eight. Palau De Les Arts Reina Sofía
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (; es, Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía; anglicised as "Queen Sofía Palace of the Arts") is an opera house, performing arts centre, and urban landmark designed by Santiago Calatrava to anchor the northwest end of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. It opened on 8 October 2005; its first opera staging was of Beethoven's ''Fidelio'' on 25 October 2006. Tenor and conductor Plácido Domingo has maintained a special relationship with the Palau since its founding and has established a young singers training program there. The building Queen Sofía Palace of the Arts is the last major structure built of a grand City of Arts and Sciences concept designed by the Valencia-born and internationally known architect Santiago Calatrava, which began in 1995. José Coronado
José María Coronado García (born 14 August 1957) is a Spanish film and television actor and former model. His performances playing (often corrupt and/or morally dubious) law enforcement officer roles have brought him some of the greatest successes of his career. Biography José María Coronado García was born in Madrid on 14 August 1957, son to a well-off family from Chamberí. He started studies in Medicine and later Law, from which he dropped out, accepting an offer to participate in a commercial shot in Menorca. Before joining the acting school of Cristina Rota, Coronado worked as model, choreographer, also opening a restaurant. María Luz Casal Paz (; born 11 November 1958) is a Spanish pop singer. She grew up in the municipality of Boimorto, took singing, piano and ballet classes, and moved to Madrid to pursue a career as a musician. José Miguel Conejo Torres (born in Madrid, 28 April 1980), better known by his artistic name Leiva, is a Spanish singer, musician and songwriter. Between 2001 and 2010 he led with Ruben Pozo the Spanish rock band Pereza, with which he recorded 6 albums. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards.
