''360'' is a 2011 internationally produced drama thriller film directed by Fernando Meirelles and written by Peter Morgan as a loose adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's 1897 play '' Reigen''. The film stars an ensemble cast of Anthony Hopkins, Ben Foster, Rachel Weisz, Jude Law and other international actors. Following the stories of couples and their sexual encounters, ''360'' was selected to open the 2011 London Film Festival. Magnolia Pictures released the film on video on demand on 29 June 2012 and was released in United States theaters on 3 August 2012. The film reunited Weisz and director Meirelles, who worked together on ''The Constant Gardener''. Plot Vienna Anna accompanies her sister Mirka to a nude photo-shoot for an escort agency, run by Rocco. Fernando Meirelles
Fernando Ferreira Meirelles (; born 9 November 1955) is a Brazilian film director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for co-directing the film '' City of God'', released in 2002 in Brazil and in 2003 in the U.S. by Miramax Films, which received international critical acclaim. For his work in the film, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Director in 2005 for ''The Constant Gardener'', which garnered the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Rachel Weisz. UK Film Council
The UK Film Council (UKFC) was a non-departmental public body set up in 2000 to develop and promote the film industry in the UK. It was constituted as a private company limited by guarantee, owned by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and governed by a board of 15 directors. It was funded from various sources including The National Lottery. John Woodward was the Chief Executive Officer of the UKFC. On 26 July 2010, the government announced that the council would be abolished. Daniel Rezende
Daniel Rezende (born May 5, 1975) is a Brazilian film editor and director. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Editing for his work on the 2002 film '' City of God'' and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film Editing for the same film. ''City of God'' was listed as the 17th best-edited film of all time in a 2012 survey of members of the Motion Picture Editors Guild. In a 2003 interview to Channel 4, Rezende has described the editing process of ''City of God'', saying he tried to "provoke differing sensations in each of the film's phases". In addition to the international nominations and awards received for ''City of God'', Rezende's editing has frequently been recognized by regional awards in his native Brazil and in Argentina.
