''333'' is the fifth studio album by American singer Tinashe. It was released independently through her own label Tinashe Music on August 6, 2021. The project features collaborations with Jeremih, Kaytranada, Kaash Paige, Absolutely, Wax Motif, Buddy, Channel Tres, Christian Blue, and Tinashe's brothers Quiet Child and Kudzai. The album's deluxe edition, featuring four additional tracks, was released on March 3, 2022. Title The album's title itself is an allusion to the angel number 333 associated with messages from the divine of protection, love, and destiny. Regarding the title selection, Tinashe commented that “I named it 333 because I really felt like I was on the right path, in alignment with what I was meant to do. Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe ( ; born February 6, 1993), known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer, dancer, and actress. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Tinashe moved to Pasadena as a child to pursue a career in entertainment. Her notable roles included as a motion-capture model in the animated film ''The Polar Express'' (2004), Robin Wheeler in the Cartoon Network television series ''Out of Jimmy's Head'' (2007–2008), and a recurring role in the CBS series ''Two and a Half Men'' (2008–2009). Between 2007 and 2011, Tinashe was a member of the girl group the Stunners. Following their disbandment, she released the positively-reviewed self-recorded mixtapes '' In Case We Die'' (2012) and '' Reverie'' (2012). ''In Case We Die'' is the debut mixtape by American recording artist Tinashe, first released on February 1, 2012 via heofficial website The mixtape was released following a four-year stint as lead singer of girl group The Stunners and her array of non-album singles, including a collaboration with producers OFM, "Artificial People", in 2011. As executive producer, Tinashe enlisted a variety of musical producers including B. Hendrixx, Wes Tarte, K-BeatZ, Yung Shaq aka now PianoBoy, J. Mixx, Myles Morgan. Bobby Brackins and producing partner Nic Nac were involved as well. Musically the project envelops a new sound for Tinashe, leaving behind her previous dance-pop sounds heard in the band for a contemporary PBR&B, alternative dance, R&B, hip hop sound. The mixtape was released after the release of her second mixtape '' Reverie'' and also being signed to RCA prior to releasing the mixtape. As executive producer, Tinashe enlisted a variety of musical producers to work with her on the mixtape, including Boi-1da, Best Kept Secret, Dev Hynes, Frank Dukes, Gabriel Lambrith, !llmind, Inc, J. Oliver, K-BeatZ, Karon Graham, Misfitz Sounds, Osinachi, Ryan Hemsworth, Vinylz, besides being executive producer of the mixtape Tinashe also wrote all of the mixtapes songs.
