3-D Secure is a protocol designed to be an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. The name refers to the "three domains" which interact using the protocol: the merchant/acquirer domain, the issuer domain, and the interoperability domain. Originally developed in the autumn of 1999 by Celo Communications AB (later Gemplus, Gemalto and now Thales Group) for Visa Inc. in a project named "p42" ("p" from Pole vault as the project was a big challenge and "42" as the answer from the book ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy''). 3D Film
3D films are motion pictures made to give an illusion of three-dimensional solidity, usually with the help of special glasses worn by viewers. They have existed in some form since 1915, but had been largely relegated to a niche in the motion picture industry because of the costly hardware and processes required to produce and display a 3D film, and the lack of a standardized format for all segments of the entertainment business. ''3-D'' is the debut studio album by American electronicore band I See Stars. The album debuted at number 176 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, number 5 on Top Heatseekers, and number 22 on Top Independent Albums. The songs "Save the Cheerleader" and "The Big Bad Wolf" were both re-recorded from their first EP, ''Green Light Go!''. The singles "The Common Hours", "3D" and "Where the Sidewalk Ends", were also re-recorded, having been previously released as demos. All of the band members were under the age of 20 by the time the album was recorded, with the oldest being rhythm guitarist Jimmy Gregerson who was 19 at the time. ''3-D'' is the second and final studio album by American heavy metal band Wrathchild America, released on January 28, 1991 by Atlantic Records. This was the band's last studio album before they changed their name to Souls at Zero in 1992. ''3-D'' was not successful as ''Climbin' the Walls'', failing to appear on any record chart, although music videos for "Spy" and "Surrounded by Idiots" were released. While retaining some of the thrash metal roots of its predecessor, ''3-D'' is notable for being the band's most diverse and technical album.
